I am saving this to my [[Shabad bookmarks]] because it made me realize what it means to be "blind" in Gurbani. Not just physically blind.

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੨ ॥
Shalok, Second Mehla:
ਅੰਧੇ ਕੈ ਰਾਹਿ ਦਸਿਐ ਅੰਧਾ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
He is truly blind, who follows the way shown by the blind man.
ਹੋਇ ਸੁਜਾਖਾ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਸੋ ਕਿਉ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇ ॥
O Nanak, why should the one who can see, get lost?
ਅੰਧੇ ਏਹਿ ਨ ਆਖੀਅਨਿ ਜਿਨ ਮੁਖਿ ਲੋਇਣ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
Do not call them blind, who have no eyes in their face.
ਅੰਧੇ ਸੇਈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਖਸਮਹੁ ਘੁਥੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
They alone are blind, O Nanak, who wander away from their Lord and Master. ||1||
