# Step 3: Move downward, not forward
Ask questions that dive deeper into the feeling, don't try to move forward with something else.

- “Where do you feel that in your body?”
- “What’s the hardest part of that feeling?”
- “If we stayed with that for a moment, what shows up?”
# Step 4: Listen for attachment meaning
How does their response show up in terms of attachment?
