Mix and matching three POVs: 1) First person: "I sent a late invoice." 2) Second Person: "You sent a late invoice." 3) Third Person: "A freelancer sent a late voice." For ex: "I had harass a client to pay their invoice. You know how it goes. You sit at your desk, open your bank account, and you see they still haven't paid. No freelancer wants to spend their free time on this idiocy." Why does this make for good writing? Because in conversations we naturally flit between first, second, and third voice. (And as the writing advice goes: Write like you talk.) Another way to remember it: • 1st Person = Establishes authority • 2nd Person = Addresses the reader • 3rd Person = Sets the pace Just use the formula... [Authority] x [Intimacy] x [Pace] = [Great Copy] --- ## Context - [[Alice Lemee]] linkedIN post ## Relevant Notes - [[Writing Tips Wallet]]
