I appreciate ਕੋ ਕੋ ਨ ਬਿਗੂਤੋ ਮੈ ਕੋ ਆਹਿ ॥੧॥, referring to how it says it's something everyone struggles with it. The pangtee ਜਿਨਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਰਤਨੁ ਹਿਰਿ ਲੀਨ ਮੋਰ ॥ is a wonderful metaphor illustrating [[ਮਦਨ (Madhan)]] as a literal thief.

ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਮਨ ਮਧੇ ਮਦਨ ਚੋਰ ॥
(ਇਸੁ) In this (ਤਨ) body (ਮਨ) and mind (ਮਧੇ) within (ਮਦਨ) lustful desire (ਚੋਰ) thief.
Within the body and mind are thieves like sexual desire,
ਜਿਨਿ ਗਿਆਨ ਰਤਨੁ ਹਿਰਿ ਲੀਨ ਮੋਰ ॥
(ਜਿਨਿ) Which (ਗਿਆਨ) spiritual wisdom (ਰਤਨੁ) jewel (ਹਿਰਿ) has stolen (ਲੀਨ) taken away (ਮੋਰ) mine.
Which has stolen my jewel of spiritual wisdom.
ਮੈ ਅਨਾਥੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਹਉ ਕਾਹਿ ॥
(ਮੈ) I (ਅਨਾਥੁ) orphan (ਪ੍ਰਭ) O God (ਕਹਉ) to whom should I speak (ਕਾਹਿ) to whom?
I am a poor orphan, O God; unto whom should I complain?
ਕੋ ਕੋ ਨ ਬਿਗੂਤੋ ਮੈ ਕੋ ਆਹਿ ॥੧॥
(ਕੋ) Who (ਕੋ) has not (ਨ) been (ਬਿਗੂਤੋ) ruined (ਮੈ) what am (ਕੋ) I (ਆਹਿ) ?
Who has not been ruined by sexual desire? What am I? ||1||
ਮਾਧਉ ਦਾਰੁਨ ਦੁਖੁ ਸਹਿਓ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
(ਮਾਧਉ) O Lord (ਦਾਰੁਨ) terrible (ਦੁਖੁ) pain (ਸਹਿਓ) endure (ਨ) not (ਜਾਇ) can.
O Lord, I cannot endure this agonizing pain.
ਮੇਰੋ ਚਪਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਉ ਕਹਾ ਬਸਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
(ਮੇਰੋ) My (ਚਪਲ) fickle (ਬੁਧਿ) intellect (ਸਿਉ) with (ਕਹਾ) how (ਬਸਾਇ) can it be controlled?
What power does my fickle mind have against it? ||1||Pause||
ਸਨਕ ਸਨੰਦਨ ਸਿਵ ਸੁਕਾਦਿ ॥

(ਕਬਿ) Poets (ਜਨ) and saints (ਯੋਗੀ) Yogis (ਜਟਾਧਾਰਿ) with matted hair.
The poets and the Yogis with their matted hair
ਸਭ ਆਪਨ ਅਉਸਰ ਚਲੇ ਸਾਰਿ ॥੨॥
(ਸਭ) All (ਆਪਨ) their own (ਅਉਸਰ) opportunity (ਚਲੇ) passed (ਸਾਰਿ) well.
All lived their lives with good behavior. ||2||
ਤੂ ਅਥਾਹੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਥਾਹ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
(ਤੂ) You (ਅਥਾਹੁ) unfathomable (ਮੋਹਿ) I (ਥਾਹ) depth (ਨਾਹਿ) do not know.
You are Unfathomable; I cannot know Your depth.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੀਨਾ ਨਾਥ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਹਉ ਕਾਹਿ ॥
(ਪ੍ਰਭ) O God (ਦੀਨਾ) of the meek (ਨਾਥ) master (ਦੁਖੁ) pain (ਕਹਉ) to whom should I speak (ਕਾਹਿ) to whom?
O God, Master of the meek, unto whom should I tell my pains?
ਮੋਰੋ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੁਖੁ ਆਥਿ ਧੀਰ ॥
(ਮੋਰੋ) My (ਜਨਮ) birth (ਮਰਨ) death (ਦੁਖੁ) pain (ਆਥਿ) remove (ਧੀਰ) grant peace.
Please rid me of the pains of birth and death, and bless me with peace.
ਸੁਖਸਾਗਰ ਗੁਨ ਰਉ ਕਬੀਰ ॥੩॥੫॥
