When [[Ali Abdaal]] used to work in the hospital, he noticed that doctors didn’t use apps or any sort of tech to keep track of their todos. They simply took a blank piece of a paper and wrote their todos. However, they stressed [[The importance of next action]]. Only writing down todos that would move the needle forward for each of their patients. The best part? At the end of the day, they would put the piece of paper in the shredder and start a fresh list on the following day. This also reminds me of a random YouTube video I recently watched about Sam Altman and his productivity routine. He just writes his todos down on a piece of paper and does them. There’s something to be said about not having to follow any sort of productivity system and instead focusing all your energy on execution by using a simple piece of paper. Use technology and apps to offload things from your brain, but when it comes to doing the work, you don’t need anything complicated. How can I apply this to [[My personal productivity and time management]]? --- ## Context - https://youtu.be/VpN78TXMSUM?si=Xa6OnRshAmrEsdhO ## Relevant Notes - [[Life Lessons]]
