I originally had this idea in regards to [[My YouTube channel]]. Instead of chasing view velocity and getting a high influx of traffic upon publishing, you’re much better off creating content that is evergreen that will continue to gain views for weeks, months, or even years. THAT is a sign of a good video.
But I also feel that this concept hit me when I switched to Obsidian and designed [[My Zettelkasten system]]. A big mindset shift I’m going through right now and is no longer saving low-value notes. I am going to make an intentional effort to distill my ideas and create evergreen atomic notes.
Building a second brain that can last me into the decades ahead (seriously, imagine having one second brain for the rest of my life, the amount of notes and knowledge I can build up would be insane. I hope to do that with Obsidian).
