I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings... I think it is worth the trade off because I would like someone to read what I have written in the future. I think a physical journal has a much better chance of surviving than digital files. This is such an interesting idea that relates to [[The debate between analog and digital]]. I always thought that by keeping all my journal entries in a digital format, they have a longer life. But perhaps I'm mistaken. I'm going to accumulate thousands upon thousands of journal entries during my lifetime. Do I realistically think they will ever be looked at again by anyone in the future? If I started keeping a physical journal, the chances of that surviving are actually much higher. I wish I had the physical journals of my grandparents or ancestors. That would be so cool. There's something about having the physical version that seems so much more personal.
